You should know that if you want to rent in Newport Beach, you should expect sky high prices. The median rent here is $1,811, which is nearly double the national average of $950. Many of the properties exceed $2000, and it’s tough to find a nice place with more than two bedrooms for less than that. Even the studio apartments, which are the cheapest to rent in, go for around $1200-1300 usually. Once you live here you will see why the rent is so high -- it’s a beautiful area, the people are friendly, and the weather is amazing. If you can pay it, you’ll be able to enjoy one of the best places to live in in the U.S.

Schools & Education

Schools & Education

Ana Boyer - Property Manager

Newport Beach has one of the best public school systems in California. Their nine public schools average a 9 out of 10 on GreatSchools, which was earned through excellent state test scores. They are run by the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. There are about five private schools in Newport Beach for parents who don’t want to enroll their children in public schools. If you’re considering sending your kids to private, I would highly suggest you at least take a look at the public schools here and do some research, because they are great schools.
